Privacy Policy

This policy covers both Candlelier products: Scent Throw Secrets and the Wax + Wick Calculator. It explains what we collect when you buy, why, who helps us handle it, and the rights you have.

Who is responsible for your data

Candlelier is a brand of Romyro Marketing, a seller based in Romania. We decide what is collected and why. Questions and requests about your data go to hazel@candlelier.net.

What we collect, and why

• Your name and email address. You enter these at checkout. We use your email to send your download and to answer you if you write in. We use your name only to greet you in that email.
• Your payment details. These are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches this site and is never seen by us. We receive only the confirmation that payment succeeded, along with the country and the last four digits shown on the receipt.

The delivery email also asks, once, if you would send back a line about how your candle turned out. That is optional. If you reply with a review, we may publish your words on the sales page. We never publish your name or your email address.

We do not collect anything else. There is no account to make, and we do not ask for anything you do not need to give.

Who helps us handle it

We use three services to take your order and get your product to you. Each one only receives what it needs for its job.

• Stripe takes the payment and handles all card data. It receives your name and email to process the sale and send a receipt.
• Resend sends your delivery email. It receives your name and email to send that one message.
• Vercel hosts this website and runs the checkout, download and email steps. Vercel and Stripe keep server logs, which are technical records of requests to the site and the payment. Those logs can include your IP address and the time of a request.

We do not sell your data and we do not rent it. We do not share it with anyone beyond the three services above.

Cookies and tracking

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking cookies. We do not count visitors and we do not build a profile of you.

The one thing the site stores in your browser is the campaign tag from the link that brought you here, if there was one. It is kept in your browser's session storage so a sale can be traced to the link it came from. It clears when you close the tab, it stays on your device, it is not shared with anyone, and it cannot follow you to other sites.

Stripe sets what it needs on its own checkout pages to take the payment securely. That happens on Stripe's pages, under Stripe's own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

• Order and payment records are kept for as long as Romanian tax and accounting law requires them to be kept.
• Your name and email are kept so your download can be re-sent if you lose it, and so we can answer you. We delete them on request, once any record we must keep by law is clear.

The legal bases we rely on

We process your name, email and order to give you the product you bought, which is our contract with you. We keep order and payment records because the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can:

• ask for a copy of the data we hold about you,
• ask us to correct it,
• ask us to delete it,
• ask us to limit how we use it,
• ask us to send it to you in a portable form,
• object to a use of it.

Write to hazel@candlelier.net and we will do it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

Changes

This policy can change. The version in force for your purchase is the one published on the day you bought.
